Product Specification

Name: Press-Fit Inserts for Soft Metal

Material: Carbon steel.Stainless steel, Brass

Size: 8-32, 10-24, 1/4-20", 5/16-18", 3/8-16"


The knurled body holds these inserts in place in aluminum and other soft metals. They're tapered, so they align themselves as they’re pressed into the hole. Use an arbor press to install them in untapped holes. Uniform knurl diameter reduces the risk of sink marks.


Available in varying lengths for injection molding assemblies. Aluminum inserts are ideal for lightweight designs. Aluminum and stainless steel inserts offer a lead-free alternative.
