Size: 2-56, 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, 10-32, 1/4-20",

Made from brass, these inserts are nonmagnetic, corrosion-resistant, and electrically conductive. The flange provides a load-bearing surface and acts as an electrical contact. Press them into a drilled hole, then install a screw to expand the insert and drive the knurls into the surrounding plastic to keep it secure. The installed length includes the flange.
