Product Specification

Tapping Inserts for Plastic. Also known as Trisert inserts, these cut threads into plastic and have better-holding power than press-fit inserts. Flutes channel loose chips up and out to keep threads clean during installation. Made from brass, they’re corrosion-resistant, electrically conductive, and nonmagnetic. Install in a drilled hole using a required installation tool.


Threaded insert&Press-Fit Inserts for Soft Metal

The knurled body holds these inserts in place in aluminum and other soft metals. They're tapered, so they align themselves as they’re pressed into the hole. Use an arbor press to install them in untapped holes.
