Stainless steel Tapping Inserts for Plastic, Also known as Trisert inserts, cut threads into plastic and have better holding power than press-fit inserts. Flutes channel loose chips up and out to keep threads clean during installation. Made from brass, they’re corrosion-resistant, electrically conductive, and nonmagnetic. Install in a drilled hole using a required installation tool.
1. Application: This special insert is used to absorb extreme torsional and flutter pressures. The anti-rotation function can be achieved by making a parallel groove and groove on the grooved bolt (pre-drilling a hole with a diameter of E3 and a depth of B3 + 1mm on the workpiece).
2. Material: untempered steel, surface hardened steel, galvanizing, chromium plating, brass, anti-rust material 1.4105, anti-rust materials 1.4305
